Global Food Security Discussion—16th of September
International Press Club of Chicago
On the 16th, I’m leading a discussion and presenting on Global Food Security for the International Press Club of Chicago.
I think global food policy is ultimately a political process and, as the old saying goes, politics is the art of deciding who gets what when where and how. With global warming, floods, droughts, competition for farmland, an increasingly integrated global food and farm system and more and more people to feed every year, the questions get really interesting.
