Biggest innovator in Global Ag is the Internet/Communications Platform
I think from a global perspective the most innovative player is not a company but the shift in communications technology like the internet/satellite feed, rfid gps, text messaging etc. These technologies are going to be paradigm changers. Case in point, in Mozambique the government tried to stop the food riots by pulling the plug on text messaging. For the first time ever I would venture to say entire global ag community is starting to have access to information on a more level platform. And the results should be very interesting to watch....
