Tobacco in Brooklyn? What's next Mead in Manhattan?

The New York Times today reported on an intrepid soul in Brooklyn who is growing tobacco in her  own backyard.  http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/25/nyregion/25tobacco.html?nl=todaysheadlines&emc=tha29 

This makes me wonder if a how to guide for Moonshine in  Miami or how to make Mead in Manhattan is next? 

As someone who grew up reading Rodale and Mother Earth News, I am intrigued. It certainly gives urban agriculture a whole new spin.
